where is a good place to get live plants?

i have ordered live plants several times and they usually dont arrive healthy. the last time i ordered was about a month ago and they still havent arrived, lol.

i phone my lfs and ask when the next shipment of plants is coming, then go in the day they arrive, that way they are fresh and healthy, take them home immediately clean them off and set them up, Unless you are looking for rare and wild plants, then, i don't know! maybe ask them to order them specially for you

I usually try to get them from other hobbyists. Either Aquabid or the larger plant sites are good places, IME, and generally much cheaper than ordering from the online stores, unless you want a large assortment. If you're just looking for a few plants or one specific plant, I'd go for hobbyist plants.

Yeah, ihave tried LFS and other stores, but they dont really work out, i would defiantely try aquabid, great place, and cheap too

get them ordered from a petstore and they will usually stock more then what u asked for when they call u wait a few days and go in a pick the ones that look the most healthy
