Where to get SAE?

Hi guys,

I've been looking to get two or three SAE's to clean up some of the algae that's been sprouting up in my tank.

I ordered two from Arizona Aquatic Gardens, but they both seem to be False SAE's.  I'll give 'em a few days to get settled in before I pass final judgement on whether or not they are, but an indication they aren't is the black line does NOT extend through the tail, and they DO have a yellow tint on the dorsal fin.

I live in Massachuestts, and was wondering if anyone knows a local shop that may have some, or another store online that has some and that you've had reliable experiences with in the past.

Sounds like that is what you have , a false. Their mouthes are also different. I found my false was even better at times that my real SAE. But now after the SAE are more mature, they eat more than he.

Can you ask the manager/owner to try and order you some(from your LFS)? If they can, you can at least look first before you buy.(unless they require a deposite)
