So, which shoalingfish (or other) would like cool water, 23-24C and quite fast flow and to a small tank, 80 l? Other fishes are 2 borellii cichlids and 2 spotted hillstream loaches (gastromyzon punctulatus).

White clouds....too warm, neon tetra looks boring to me because it is so common, espes rasbora could be nice but is water too cold, normal harlequin rasbora maybe, how about danios................

Ideas, please.

I would probably go with some kind of danio. D. choprae are prettier than some of the other kinds, and do well in a cool river tank. I have heard D. roseus will do well, also.

I think you could have white clouds. Many people keep them in warmer waters. Most tetras prefer it warmer, and most don't really like the high current.

I really would want white clouds, but I am a person that wants to keep fishes in perfect conditions, not ok conditions. If I remember right white clouds come from max. 22C waters, am I right? How about bread veiltales, do they need warmer water...?

Most sites I read suggests 18-24C (65-75F) for white clouds, although some say slightly cooler and some slightly warmer. As your tank is somewhere in between cold water and tropical, most fish available will be at the bottom or top end of their temp ranges, I think.

I'm not really sure what you mean by bread veiltails, are you talking about long finned danios?
