Which needs skimmer more

Been really busy lately, and decided Im sabotaging my algae infested 30g freshwater and making it a fowlr. Im too poor to afford a skimmer at this time, and am running a prizm on my 29 reef and am wondering what tank it would be more useful to run the skimmer on until I can get another one or work something out. The 29 doesnt really produce alot of skimmate, and is only stocked with a purple firefish, peppermint shrimp, hermits, and snails, along with some corals. The 30 would just be substrate and rock for a while until its ready for life. Which would need the assistance of the prizm I currently have more?

The FOWLR - I doubt the bioload in the reef w/ one fish is producing anyting you can't handle with weekly water changes

So it would be better to run the cycling 30 with the skimmer then, the 29 is allready established and has a light stock.

fowlr= fish only with live rock

Yeah I looked at this situation again and realized theres no way I could have the timne or the cash to start another project.
