Which Shrimp?

I was planning on getting (if I can find them) some Cherry Shrimp for my 20g to clean up after the Zebras. The sticky was great for some info on them! *thumbsups

But if Big Al's happens to not carry them, what other kinds of Shrimp would be suitable for my 20? I wasn't sure if other kinds of shrimp would bother the Zebs either... They used to be kept with Cherry Shrimp, but I wasn't sure if any other types might harm them.

You could also get Amano shrimp, they would work well. Ghost shrimp can be tricky, as they're a mix of different species, and sometimes you end up with 4" fish-eating monster shrimp.

I know it's still a few years off, but there have been reports of shrimp eating fish eggs, so you will probably want to remove the shrimp when the plecs start to mature.

I was straying away from Ghosts because I've heard of them getting big, thanks for confirming. ^^ So I'll be on the lookout for Cherry or Amano shrimp, sounds good!
And luckily (or maybe not ), my little guys have a long way to go before maturity. I'm more worried about them eating then breeding at this point!

i was also wondering if i should buy a few shrimp myself... i dont think i over feed my fish (2 times a day) but i see food on the bottom, not good. i cut back on the portions but it never seems to go away... shrimp should help right? i wanted to buy a few amano..

I think you'd have problems with the shrimp getting eaten by your columbian/sun catfish.
