Hi everyone,
I'm a little worried about a patchy white bacteria looking buildup that is showing up on the silicone corners of my fish tank. I've attached some pictures of the tank and the patchy white stuff I'm talking about.
The tank is 32litre and contains a male and female fighting fish separated by perspex with multiple holes for circulation. 2 Catfish, 1 on each side, a blue dwarf gourami and a white tetra on the female fighting fish side.
I've attached pictures of the male fighting fish and of the gourami and as you can see they look very healthy, the male is over 2 years old now and still very active. So I'm curious if this white stuff is actually harmful? Having said this, recently an orange dwarf gourami developed dropsy and died a few days later (in a separate quarantined tank).
Any help is appreciated!
Thankyou,
Colin.
