White calcium like deposits?

I've noticed a few growths in my display and I'm wondering what they might be. They look like deposits of calcium or something. They are white, hard(ish), 1-2mm in diameter and have a little pin-prick in the center. They are more numerous on in the lower levels of the tank, growing on the glass etc. Anyone have any ideas?

They are a kind of worm , I can't remember which. Serpulids possibly

What causes them? Anything to worry about?

i have tons...have no fear, it's just pretty...gift from live rock

Ya, I have tones growing in my tank as well; on the glass in the filters and on LR. They are just a tiny feather duster! If you look closly at them you should see it's little feathers sticking out. Mine have a red feather. At least that is what yours sounds like!

I was told they were type of mollusk. After while they evebtually went away.
