White Cottony Stuff

is in the botton of my fish tank.

It looks like the end of a Q-tip.

What is it? The tank has been reading normal for ammonia, nitrite/nitrate

Is it not on the fish at all? If it's on the fish, it may be a fungal infection. I'm not sure about anything not on fish though. Any time I've wanted to search about any diseases I have done google searches & found a lot of info..

It could be rotting food, or something in your substrate. What kind of substrate is it, and how long has the tank been set up?

Well I talked to LFS and they said it was built up food and I may have been overfeeding (I didn't think I was) Anyway it is gone now.

I have 3 Black Tetras and 2 Ottos in there right now.
