It's what's commonly called limescale, the stuff that's left behind when water evaporates. A razor blade is a good way to remove it. Keeping your tank topped up will help prevent it from forming.
No No I am not talking about lime scale. I know what that is. This is a thin layer all over in the tank. It is like everywhere even on the fake plants. it is only visible when i switch on the lights.
No, I don't think it's brown algae. Sometimes newer tanks get a whitish slime on them. It's usually temporary. Have you checked your water parameters to make sure everything is as it should be?

Well it is white slime i am sure of that. At present I am out of test strips. I dont know the parameters. 2 days back i did 30% water change. So am sure that the nitrates are low. The tank has cycled already i am sure of that.From what is the white slime caused?? Anybody knows
