white spot on common pl*co

my pl*co seems to have small white spots in his body and on his tail ???,is it becasue of the water of what ph-7.2 thanks

He probably has ich.  THis is because he's stressed or there is another fish that has ich.  Is your nitrates/nitrite low?  Do a water change and possibly raise the temp of your water up.  Some others add some salt.
Others can use Rid Ich medication.

Does it look like someone sprinkled salt all over your fish? If so, your fish has Ich, and real salt is a great medication. Just add about 1.5 tsp per gallon (plain old table salt is fine, doesn't have to be Kosher or anything), and raise the temperature up to about 80 degrees.

P.S. Dont' worry about your pH, unless you start playing with it, pH will never hurt your fish.
