What are the white streaks that are forming on my tank glass and some of the tank ornaments over the past 3 or so days? I've had quite a time with this tank as I ended up having to put my fish in before the cycle was complete (long story). Anyways, the cycle ended up killing 2 of my Rainbows and 3 of my Danios with a white tuft body fungus and about killed another Rainbow with a mouth fungus. So, I'm assuming this is yet another repercussion of the tank being unstable, but I'm not sure how to fix it without doing more harm than good. My ammonia is between 0 and .25 and I can't tell you my nitrite/nitrate reading because I haven't had time to take a sample to my LPS. My pH stays consistently at about 6.5, temp around 74 and I used some Stress-Zyme to help cycle my tank when I had to add the fish (about a month ago). Did a 25% water change after the last treatment for the mouth fungus about 2 weeks ago. Oh, and I've been doing this forever, so I'm not a moron, just haven't come across this stuff before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
