White/Yellowish crusty growth on tank

Hi

Call me a noob cause I am! I have this white/yellow-ish barnacle-like crusty growth on the outside and edges of my tank. Even around my light fixture and on parts of the glass wehre the water dripped down from the tank.

Iv'e tried scrubbing this stuff off and it's like CEMENT!

What is it and how can I get it off???

I did some research and it sais it oculd be mineral deposites.

But the water never gets upto the top of the light fixture and ti's there too!

Is it some sort of fungus or something?

well the perspraiton might have dried out and left that im not sure tho

I have mineral deposits and fungus/algae growth near the lights...it's probably the humidity that causes the growth

be sure not to get
ANY in your tank though.
