Ok i have 2 bettas in my 55 gallon, one male on female. these 2 are actually very friendly calm bettas. Compared to others I have had which were way more aggressive.

Now both of their fins are nipped up a little. I have watched and watched and can not catch anyone doing it. Usually the male and female go their own ways but sometimes they hang out togehter, and i see no reason to think they are nipping at eachother.
I have some black tetra and a couple blueberry tetras, (bought them b4 i knew they were died errh) those out off all my other fish are the only ones i can imagine would be nipping at the bettas.

I also have some scissortails, neons, 1 CAE, 1 pleco, a molly and some other rasboras.

Anyone got any ideas on who might be nipping at my bettas? Heard that the bigger tetras might nip at long finned fish, but I have never once seen the 4 larger tetras near them, they are kind engulfed in themselves.

Also, when is the best time to catch fish doing something wrong? When they see me they all act like perfect angels lol.
