I have a blood parrot and for the last few days it hasn't been eating. It just sits on the bottom of the 75G tank and it hasn't been swimming . its the only fish in the 75G besides my pleco. I have observed multiple time the colors and the shape of my blood parrot and they seem just fine. please find out whats wrong.

Need to know the basics. Water parameters. How long has he been in there. How long has the tank been up.

New cichlids often take a little wile to acclimate and eat. But if he isn't new then you have other issues going on.

Unless your PH is over 9.0 it should be ok. BPs are not what you would call a black water fish and should adapt to high or low PH.

You really need to test your water and get us some results. We can't even begin to speculate as to what may be the problem without seeing those numbers first.
