will a gourami eat neons

I feel foolish asking this because........ big fish eats little fish is basically common sense.

ok here goes......... will a blue gourami (3-spot) eat neon tetras.

BTW, I haven't tried them together. I have the gourami (female) with cory, columbian tetra (which are bigger than neons), cherry barb, odessa barb.

No it shouldnt eat the neons, Ive never heard or seen that before. Gouramis are usually kept with tetras, I have one in with some smaller fish and it doesnt bother them.

blue gourami's are pretty big fish, but their mouths are tiny. So unless the neons a fry there wont be any problems.
