I am setting up a 75g tank and ordered two 150w heaters. I wanted to have two, so I could have one on each side and balance things out better. Will that be enough to keep the water around 78-80 degrees? I don't want to stress the heaters. After I ordered it, I felt like I should have just gone for two 200w ones because it would have been $2 more. I can send them back to get the 200w ones though. Any thoughts?

I have a 110 Imp Gallon tank, with 2 X 150 watt heaters. Central heating although the house has only single glazing. in the English Midlands (Some snow in winter). Draught free location in our lounge. room temp fluctuates with weather out side, and time of day (Heating switches off when we go to bed or to work). the water is 24 degrees C. 24 / 7 - 365 days a year. does that help ?

That's is what I was thinking too. I think 150 would work, but it's pushing it and definitely on the low end of what I should have. I will try to send them back and get something with higher wattage.
