To get them to breed? Try dimming lights and music? I am really not sure, I put a orange female in with a black male and he mated within hours. Mollies can mate with guppies and vice versa so watch them, it is easy to spot and he may ignore the mollie if that happens put them in the nursery alone and see. As for the nursery set up, no gravel, maybe plastic plant hornwort java moss or something. All of those offer hiding spots but live plants offer infusoria for them to eat. I am using a Tetra Whisper 10i right now, has no flow adjuster but seems to not be too strong for my guppy fry is a little cheaper than a sponge but both are good choices. People have used HOB with success. Hope things go well.

You might want to get a second or third female because the male may end up trying to mate your single female to death.

If you don't want to get another "nursery tank" you can add a bunch of plants and get a breeder net. DO NOT put the mother in the breeder net. Just put the babies in the net after they're born and hiding in the plants. I use Wisteria, planted and floating. Java moss would probably be better. (NOTE: I'm not saying anything bad about the nursery tank method. It works well.)

Its kind of survival of the fittest. If there are enough hiding places, some of the fry will survive. Those plastic grass mats work pretty well. I would suggest your tank is already overstocked and although having more females would be good, mollies need a lot more room than you have. They are very active fish.
