Wimpy Angel?

I gave my father-in-law my 2" angelfish a couple weeks ago... I've been noticing his fins are pretty badly nipped. The thing that confuses me is that his only tankmates are 6 head&taillight tetras and an otocinclus.

Is the oto beating up the angel? lol

could be a number of this from fights, bad water conditions, to stress.

hehe. nono. he's definitely been nipped at. Fish don't lose the tips of their fins from stress or bad water conditions

I'm just surprised that an angel would get it's ass whooped by an oto, I've never read anywhere that oto's are aggressive. then again baby tetras don't seem a very likely candidate either. That's all that's in the tank.
