I recently came across an ad for a Won Pro Heat heater. It comes with a seperate thermostat that goes into the tank and has either analog or digital display for temp settings. I am just curious if anyone has any experience with this heater. my POS heater never maintains the proper temp. Any input will help. Thank you.

I have a 300 watt Won Bros titanium heater on my 80 gallon. It's got the external digital thermostat control with digital readout.
It's pretty sweet, the only problem I had was when I was "away from home" for a month, my wife never changed the water and, as it evaporated, the temp sensor became exposed to the air and told the heater that that it was too cold. It boiled all of my cories, clouded my A. cacatuoides left eye, and cooked all my cardinals.
Just keep up on water changes
