workin a diatom filter

Save your money. You won't need our help, they require a ton of maintenance so you'll get plenty of practice

The diatom media is a one time use item.
You only run the filter for a few hours. then throw out the clogged diatom slurry

honestly,at the price of a diatom filter you could buy a huge ass micron polishing filter and have a far more effective filter.the magnum line offfers micron polishing and if i remember correctly there are a few aquatic-store.com that are real big,and about the same price as a diatom filter.

but i have multiable tanks or will it work on more then one im not lookin for the diatom to be my "main" filter just a monthly thing is when ill use it
