Hi guys,
i recently bought 2 severums in petsmart. They were so neglected and rough looking and appears to have some problems. I already cured them from very mild ick case, but still they have abrasions on their skin which are slowly healing.
Today i noticed worm-like thingy hanging out from one of the guys. Also he tries scratch it off obviously. I think is some sort of anchor worm.
Do anybody has experience with this type of parasite?
I'm going to run for meds tomorrow first thing in the morning but maybe you, guys, have any advice or something.

Well, I removed the thing with tweezers and pima-melafixed the environments.
I would add that operating on fish is grossly strange. I catched him and put in a large bowl with shallow water. Gently held him on one side... He never put up a fight or freaked out and out.
He was a little bit ruffled after the ordeal and was sulking in java fern for about 20 min. Now he is back in the open swimming. No worm attached. Nobody bullied him yet. Poor guy.
I've read that it would help. Will see how it goes later... Ufh *SLEEPING*
