worms in snail breeding tank?

i went down to my garage to check on my snails today well i have babies! the bad news is i have 1 little worm looking thing? any idea what it is and how do i get rid of it?

good water quality usually takes care of wormy looking things. Is it planeria?

its a filtered tank does that matter about the water quality?

filtered is a start...but you still need to do water changes, keep the nitrates low, make sure that its clean enough that the nitrites dont start bumping up to .25 or .5ppm because of crud in the tank. Water quality is everything about the water, temperature, chemistry etc.

so how could the worms get in there in the first place?
