Does anybody know how to identify worms?? or parasite things? The other day i was getting rid of some more algae (i've got a forest... arg!) and i noticed this mettalic looking thing swimming around. My platy just had babies, but otherwise nothing new has been introduced into my tank. What the heck is this little metallic worm? It was about the size of a pinky-finger nail, and it wriggled around, even out of the water. any ideas?

oh! oh! I know what it is but i can't think of the name! @#*!! we did a science project on it in high school... they are a type of flathead worm....this is driving me crazy. i would get it out though- i can't remember whether or not it is parasitic. go to a search engine or something and type in "aquatic worm" and see what comes up.
