Worried!!!

I have had an aquarium for about 10 months now. I have heard a few people say that fish attracts snakes. I thought it was BS, but about a week ago I saw a babysnake in my driveway & today I found a snake skin in my landscaping. We have lived in this house for three years & until now I never had any snake- related sightings.
BTW, When I change my aquarium water, I dump the old water in my yard, Now I dont know if that smell or water attracts snakes
I dont have a cat or a dog in my house & the last thing I want is tripping over snakes in my driveway or backyard
Do fish really attract snakes???

Utterly unfounded. Don't worry. It's just time for snakes to be out and that wives' tale planted a seed in your head. Like when you read a horoscope and think something came true - it's only because you were (sub) consciously waiting to observe it.

I'd say if you didn't have a bunch of snakes turn up in your yard when you first started your tank, then the myth is busted.

yeah, if that were true we would all have snakes in our yards.
