Would you guys add anything

I was thinking of adding one fish in my cichlid tank because the water quality has been great with my newer filter. I want a raphael catfish, There is alot of caves and hiding places in my tank?

I have a Raphael in my Mbuna tank.... No probs with the other Fish....Go for it. Get the biggest one you can find tho. Mine is about 5 in long... I hardly ever see him tho.. He will only come out at night.

I'm a bit worried about the Cichlids you have with a Striped Raphael. I guess that you can try and see if the Cichlids ignore the catfish, then it should be ok. I have two Striped Raphaels and all my fishies ignore them.

Striped Raphaels easily go anywhere they want to and fishies generally do not pay attention to them. However, there may be conflicts if a Striped Raphael go into an area (hiding/cave location) thats marked by a Cichlid.

Raff catsfish get about 6-8 inches and are very peaceful they are only active at night unless your feeding in the day time then they come out but I have never notice this fish giving any other fish problems I have a spotted raffy. Did you know that they also making clicking noise.

no i did not know that what do they feed on. What is there natural origin?

The raff cats love brine My angelfish eat the brine while it floats then when it sinks to the bottom the raff eats the rest. they have got to be the biggest pigs i have ever seen...LOL

tiger oscar and the pleco are gonna get HUGE, soo i would say no

He has a 70 gallon tank and the raff only get 6-8 inches im sure it will be fine in the big aquarium.

no the tank is pretty overcrowded as it is, so i wouldnt add anything.

are you sure how big do the oscars get ive seen the plecos get 14 or so inches

Raphael catfish are not only active at night, but active during the day too. They will eat anything you feed them.
