The preggy shrimp just unleashed a maelstrom of white specks, her babies ! went to feed the fish and saw that they are no bigger than a . but white dont think anyone will be hungry in the morning, hope a few live to adulthood but somehow I dont think that will happen*crazysmil *celebrate
well this morning when I got up nothing no itty bitty white specks swimming so I think it was an all you can eat buffet but maybe a few are hiding in the filter or under a rock or something.
impossible to raise shrimp fry in a tank with other fish. they might not get eaten today, tomorrow, or in a week. but as long as they can fit in the fishes' mouth, they're gone.
the main reason I got a Preggy female was to provide food for fry and she did, the baby mollies had a growth spurt at the time she hatched her eggs best food for fry. I know that is not gonna happen alot but for my first fry it was a good thing.
