I want to buy daphnia for under $10 including shipping... If this is impossible I may be able to raise it to uhhhh $15? Yea I'm just trying to start aculture. I have a swaeter box with holes in the lid to let them breathe but small so nothing "unwanted" can come in. Well I'm just looking for daphnia thats $10 or less... Last thing that may not make anyone want to sell to me............... I gotta pay in cash:( . I gotta pay in cash cause I'm 14 and its the only way I can...( unsupportive parents...). Yea so if anyone would be sooooooooo kind as to sell daphnia for $10 or under includding shipping I'll buy!!!*SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL

Oh daphnia are little creatures that fish love to eat. Uhhh they are also called water fleas and are a whitish, pinkish, greenish color depending on what they are fed. Also they move around in the water by "hopping" hence the name water fleas.*SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL

I can't exactly catch any because there are no ponds, lakes, streams near here. I can go to irvine and get some there but its a hassle for me.... Oh oscarowner559 are you sure they are daphnia? If so I'll probably buy some from you. Oh and on aquabid I really can't pay with anything besides cash sooooo I can't really buy from there... unless they accept cash which I haven't seen so far on the payment methods....*SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL
edit-oscarowner559 I'll probably take 100-400 anywhere between is fine.

With the payment, you could probably do a money order. The post office and a lot of supermarkets sell them. Basically you give them cash and they write a check. It costs under a dollar, usually. A lot of people on Aquabid and eBay sell these things every week, and would probably be willing to wait for you to send them a money order. You can always e-mail them and ask :)

Oh Lotus sorry I must have skipped your post... If all else fails as in oscar can't send it I'll go with your idea you helped me out sooo much already and I'm willing to take all of your advice. I never used money order because I thought it was just a check... I thought you had to go get a bank account and buy money orders like you buy checks... Live and Learn I guess!!! Thx for all the help!!!*SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL

If oscarowner559 can't get the daphnia which kind of daphnia should I buy? Magna or Pulex??? Oh the daphnia are for dwarf puffers!!! I read they can eat magna but have to snap them in half? Maybe I can keep a swarm of them in my tank and they will have babies and supply food for my dwarf puffers. Thx for all the help!!!!*SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL *SUPERSMIL
