Xenia come back?

Here are some pics of my xenia. Will it comeback? It looks like it's shrinking.

My xenia melted completely down to a quarter sized blob of bubblegum goo like stuff. Amazingly one or two polyps survived the meltdown and now it has spread everywhere.....

I'm hoping the change from instant ocean to reef crystals will give it the stuff it needs.

well the difference i noticed between the 2 are : got no hairs and dust in my salt + more calcium.
Seriously on 3 batches of IO i got long hairs in it, an they're ain't mine nor my friends.

BTW even if Xenia are considered easy corals, they can be a pain. I think they can propagate easily so they can be considered easy for that, but they can vanish quickly with pristine water.

You should check your Xenia and if it smells, well you may have a clue if it's going to be ok or not.

I read that xenia has a odd smell to it regardless. Right now it's not getting any worse nor better.

yeah but rotting xenia isn't the same smell at all!
