Yellow/Blue Tang in 34G Tank

Hello,

I have finally setup my 34G saltwater tank and I will be purchasing some fish in 1 week as soon as the ph/nitrate etc.. levels have all dropped.

I would really really like at least one Tang. Would this tank be to small for the fish?

I have 2 filters, 1 is a Fluvil 404 and the other is a standard one that came with my Topiqarium 88.


If you could please advise me I would be more than grateful.

No your tank doesn't sound tang friendly. Sorry. You may well find it takes more than a week to cycle as well.

I would stick to easier stuff like Clowns or maybe Damsels in such a small tank. If you look at the requirements for Tangs you won't see much under a 55 gallon tank....most need over 100.
