Yellow-eyed Tang

I just lost my baby yellow-eyed tang. I dont know what happened. She was fine last night. I never really notice her eat but the seaweed would always disapear. ??? I found her body next to the frogspawn. Could she of gotten stung?

Depending on how long you had it it might have allready been malnourished or maybe not acclimated.

I dont think any tangs could be kept in a tank that size though. Yellow eyed kole tangs too

I know that he would have out grown that tank. My husband comes home soon and we are going to start looking for a house. Then I will get a bigger tank. He was only about 2 inches, very tiny and I think that I had plenty of time to get a bigger tank. Also, I had this fish for 2 weeks. I aclimated him for an hour in a bucket adding a little of my water at a time. ??????
