Yellow Tank Looks Sick

MY yellow tank has little brown specs on it and its gone away and keeps coming back and now He looks like he is breathing hard??? what is IT??? i have a little nitrite

Do you mean yellow tang? if so then the spots might be ich. Tangs in general gets ich easily in the first few weeks of acclimating to your tank. To keep it healthy feed it some garlic enriched foods and make sure water is super clean. It's possible for the spots to spread to other fishes so if you have a q-tank it might be a good idea to keep the fish in there until ich disappears. Also some people have reported good results with kick ich(medication sold in some lfs and online stores). Good luck.

i'm gonna guess stress from being in a 46 gallon tank, but that's just me.

ok it wasn't ich it was black somthing they are parasites that live in the sand untill there old enough then become swimming and attach to a fish and live off them then fall off and breed. I did a freshwater bath.
