Yo-yo loach compatible?

Ok i got a 35 gallon, quite a bit of rocks and am in need of a bottom dweller or two, i got like 7 platies, 1 black molley, and 8 danios in there, would they mix well?

ive heard they can be aggressive towards fish that "cant hold their own"

they usually dont bother other fish too much and theyre pretty good cleaners(they looooove snails) if you get some buy them in even numbers so they can pair off and wont get lonely.

are you set on yoyos? clowns are also a good choice too. when i bought my first 4 one died, and its partner went into hiding(usually in the patch of plants in the back). I bought 3 more yesterday and since i put them in, all six are schooling in my tank! theyre super happy now, hehe!*BOUNCINGS *SUPERSMIL

no its not. you can put about 5 or 6 in a 35 gal.

huh? dont they get like 12 inches long?

for real, I heard they get like 12 in.! I wanted to buy some but I heard they get too big.

yes they do, but it takes years! they grow about as fast as humans. my cousin had a 4 inch clown that was 8 years old.(bought him at 1 inch)

Oscars are the direct opposite. They grow to be dinosaurs in about a year. But maybe it ain't such a bad idea to buy that lonely little loach at my lfs.

if you get him, dont just buy one! get him a buddy so he isnt lonely in your tank! the recomended amount to have is 6+ but they will be fine in pairs as well loaches grow like mollasses moves, so they wont outgrow a tank overnight like i read an oscar does. peace*PEACE!*

hmm i think ill be gettin 2 yo-yo loaches cuz i plan to have this tank for a long while, wont be upgrading for a good period of time.plus i wont want a 8 inche clown with my measily 2 inhe platies wont look right

kuhli loaches would be cool too, they only get 3-4 in.
