Zebra Pleco

hi all,
Just wondering does anyboday know where to get these Zebra Pleco in the Ipswich/Brisbane Queensland Australia area. I have never seen them in any aquarium stores. can you even get them in aus.

and also another question

I have 18 fish in my tank and 6 real plants will the fish give off enough co2 for the plants to live or do i have to go and invest into a co2 product.

You might struggle - I've seen people struggling to find gold nuggets in australia, so I don't know if they can be imported. They will be a mgihty price, thats for sure - take a gold nugget price and multiply by 3.

Part 2 - Depends on what plants, how big, how much water. the fish wil produce some CO2, but there are a lot of variables. pH is a big one on available CO2

with your plants... if there doing good so far with out, than you dont need it. If and when you do decide you need co2, remember that co2 and lighting go hand in hand. and only doing one will always cause some sort of problem

I would buy online if possible, not sure about Australian customs laws. Reason being is that whenever I see them in an LFS, they're about $100 (USD)

i just saw a peppermint pleco today for 25 bucks. is that a good price on them?

it's ok for a pleco.probably a good price considering your on the islands and lots of stuff is higher there

cool, i also saw a red/turquoise discus for 14.99 it was a nice fish

too bad i dont have any money at the moment, the pleco would be crusing in my tank right now
