My Nikon D40

So I’ve always wanted a digital SLR camera and this weekend I finally pulled the trigger and went for it. The only thing holding me back was the size of it and I didn’t really want to look like a tourist. haha. But the images it takes is just on a different level and it makes snapping pictures of my fish tank that much more fun now. Then I figured the times I’d probably use this is when I’m a tourist so I should fit right in. haha.

So far I’m a complete NOOB when it comes to this stuff so I’ve been reading and learning and just snapping pictures left and right. The best feature I’ve found out so far to snap fishes is the sports mode. so what’s this hear about lens and flashes and how they’re going to cost more than the camera itself?

oh yea…I did find a carrying bag that doesn’t make you really look like a tourist, they actually look like messenger bags if you’re interested. They’re called Crumpler bags.
