a friend of mine has a 20 high with a magnum hot canister filter and he wants to know if it would be too much flow for his tank for the fish he is going to be getting.
He said he is going to get one betta, a couple platys, 2 three spot gouramis, and 2 pearl gouramis. Do they make any H.O.T magnum canisters that don't have a powerful flow?*twirlysmi
There are many HOB filters available for 20g tanks, if he wants to buy a new filter.
You should let your friend know that bettas and gouramis don't make good tankmates. Three spot gouramis will most likely kill the betta and the other gouramis (including other three spot gouramis).
