From the carolinas and lo and behold my reef tank is caked with algae, and the water level had to have been like 6 inches too low(even though I had an uncle who knows fish take care of everything)... amazing everything is alive. Bah looks like I got some WC's to do...

On a positive side Ive noticed my corals have grown alot over my absence.

What a welcome home huh, haha. You got out of here just in time, about to get smacked with storms. Was a little cold while you were down though wasn't it? Colder then usual for us at least.

Yeah matt, first few days down in sc was kinda chilly (I was the crazy new yorker jumping in the ocean and walking around without a shirt though), it warmed up wed and thurs though, was nice at my uncles place in charlotte, nc

coolwaters- bout 9 days, yes I have clean up crew but I guess they are no match for halides and no water changes.

anywaysdid u have like a auto feeder? did the fish just live off the stuff that was naturally in the tank?

An uncle of mine watched over the house, he knows his stuff about fish but hasnt dabbled in saltwater. He fed everyone for me, but for some reason didnt keep the tank topped and I told him how to do it
