New girls

I decided that before I go nuts and buy a bunch of bettas from Thailand, I should probably pick up a couple cheap LFS females and get breeding them down to an art first. So I picked up these two girls yesterday. They're very young still, only 1.5" at max, so it will be a while before they're ready to breed.

I got more!!! I went to visit my family in another city yesterday, and of course hit up every fish store in town, where I came across these two:

They're gorgeous! I love the first girl, she's got such rich colours and is so unique looking.
