Can a rainbow cichlid go into a 29 gallon tank?

EDIT: Also, can kribs be housed in my 29 gallon tank

Rainbows can, im pretty sure.And Kribs can definitly be put in a 29gal.

just curious, why dont you do some research instead of asking what fish can and cant since i beleive this is the second thread youve started for this tank stocking.

Your right. I never do research. I just ask questions without even thinking, knowing absolutely nothing about the fish.

If thats wat u wanna think thats just fine.

and a pair of GBRs would be fine, the min tank size for a pair being a 10g.

I'm with Matt. For the record, the very huge problem with doing research through Google, for example, is that a lot of what is on the internet is complete BS. There is SOOOO much bad information out there, that even if you do research, there's no likelyhood that you're going to do it perfectly on your own. So yes, I'd much rather people asked a million questions and got good, solid advice, than NOT ask questions and end up with a horrible mix of fish, etc.

Besides, it shows that the person is actually really taking into consideration the fish themselves, rather than simply what they want to do for themselves...which is a very large pet peeve of mine

Google is perfectly fine for gathering the basics such as water parameters and general compatibility. Specifics and first hand experience are what forums are for. I'm sorry, the question "what fish cant go with it" threw me for a loop.

I think that it's probably better to ask some questions on here than to just google search everything. Google is great for basic information, but sometimes there is just too much conflicting information out there.

I agree with everyone else. Google and other websites are good for the basic info, but for the expert info and info from people currently owning them....that is where MFT and other places come in. But enough about that. The rainbow cichlid can go into the 29G, kribs can, and so can rams. But DO NOT mix the rams and kribs.... that is not a good idea.
