Hi, I am currently searching for something non of my LFS seem like they would be able to get it. I am looking for a juv. peacock mantis shrimp. Juv.= 3" and under. If any AZ salties see one at any LFS shoot me a PM ASAP. I would really appreciate it if i could get some help on the look out for one. Doesn't matter male or female. I'll find a picture of a Juv. peacock soon and will post it on this thread. Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help.

20 gallon tank. Im going to have a custom arcrylic(sp?) built for him/her. There really is no reason to keep one in a 55, waste of space since most fish would end up as food. Biggest they get is 7 inches but most dont make it past 6 since the species often gets shell disease when the specimen reaches a larger size.

Your picture isnt showing up. And im talking about the species Odontodactylus scyllarus. Reason i wont get one from an lfs is there is they will just label and mantis as a peacock like majority of people do.
