:( now my horseshoe crab died

after a week, my firefish died on 1/11, my horseshoe crab just died...

hes still in the tank, im really not sure what to do with him, cant flush him (i dont think) - any comments about what i can do?

and, the other fish in the tank, do they know hes dead?

I would get him out of the tank or he will cause an ammonia spike. You could throw him away in a trash can outside so that he doesn't make your house smell. I would think the fish know he is dead.

okay will do, i wasnt sure...i guess i could stick him in a shopping bag and tie it...ugh too bad trash pickup was this morning :/ whoops. haha

You might want to do a water change, especially if you dont know why things keep dieing.

okay i will, i wont be able to do it until sunday, thats my next day off..so i should do a complete water change? - i dont have any test kits, which ones should i buy?

I would buy the master saltwater test kit, no just do a 25% water change to start off with.Have you done a water change before?
