Ahhh I see you believe in research first buy later....just kidding but it is always good to research the wants and needs of additions prior to getting them. This is a cat's paw or stylophora and a very nice one I may add. Congrats.

Very nice! I added a frag of the green variety to my tank very recently (my first SPS coral).

i dont have metal halides but i have it way up on top by the light and its doing great in my tank right now.

kay bee the green variety is really awsome looking cant wait to get my hands on that color.

i just bought a few more frags and a DIY refugium i bought from ebay wich is comming along great. I'll be posting more about them later...

It may lose some of its bright pink color with PC lighting....
