30gal African Cichlids?

I was wondering since im getting a 75gal and Ill probally have to rehome Meaty JR to use his tank for fish that are not going into the 75gal.
I was wondering what kinda African Cichlids can be kept in a 30gal? I was looking at a pair Julies but i want to keep a 2nd species with them.

Firemouth Cichlid and I really dont want to get rid of him.

Then don't, why cant he stay in the 75 or even the 30 gallon?

Thing is ill nead his tank to house the GBR and cories. Maybe if I get a 14gal upgrade for the 2.5 Ill be able to keep him.

What about the 75 that you might get? The firemouth would be perfect in there. Remember, the bigger the tank, the more peaceful they are.

a pair of julies and a small colony of shell dwellers would work in a 30. but if one of the species start to breed your tank can get small pretty fast.

bob, another african you could do in your 30 gallon tank is salousi. i believe you could also demasoni (sp?), but i don't know much about them!

Most important question - what is the dimension of your 30gal tank? Is it 30" long?

IDK i think its a long
