It was just the second day after I brought teh Serpae Tetra, I noticed a very small (like 0.5 mm) white hair like stuff just below the tetras mouth. It is a female tetra and it is being constantly harrased by the other Serpae Tetra. (May be I should add another female to keep the male from bothering this one).

From the description of an ick that I've read in this forum, this doesn't look like an ich. Anyone had such an issue?

You need a QT rav. Can you get a picture? It does sound like fungus. I would treat it ASAP before it attacks the rest of your tank. Usually I would use Melafix/Primafix but I'm not sure that's strong enough for an actual growth. Jungle makes an antifungal med but I've never used it.

I think I let a fungus take over =( At first I thought it was an algae now I'm pretty sure it's a fungus, but it's everywhere! Will normal meds do, or do I need to bleach down everything?
