Of course, if you listen to some Bauhaus ya gotta follow it up with what they eventually evolved into (without Pete, of course): YouTube - Love and Rockets - Yin and Yang and the Flowerpot Man

Can't forget Pete

Peter Murphy - Cuts You Up

while i'm at it

Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again

and a couple of videos that were banned (one MTV the other Much Music) in the Late 80's early 90's

Ministry - Stigmata

The Tragically Hip - Thugs

and some friend's of mine

Rebreather - Pen Pal

That is a good Peter Murphy song. I have it either on vinyl or CD. As for the Ministry video I went and pulled the Tapes of Wrath DVD off the shelf; I'll have to watch it later and figure out why it would be banned.

Ministry is one of my all-time favorites. I started listening to them after Twitch was released in either '86 or '87 (very techno and unlike anything they are now). I got to hang out backstage when they played the Bronco Bowl in Dallas. Jesus Lizard opened for that show.

Oh, and I'm listening to Steely Dan's Can't Buy A Thrill LP.

Ministry with The Jesus Lizard? Ministry with The Jesus Lizard! That is one hell of a lineup for a show. And in Texas to top it off. They are lucky you all didn't seceed from the union after a show like that.

I was digging through the vinyl stacks and found one I don't remember buying. Thought I'd give it a spin and see if it's any good. FYI for the youngsters: Mike Rutherford was in Genesis. FYI pt. 2: Genesis was the band Phil Collins was in.

I'm listening to this:

Purchased on 2/24/86 on vinyl. I originally got the 8-track back in '81. I've promised myself that one of these days I'm gonna get it on CD so I can jam out to it in my car. Right now my 4 year old is singing along to Crimson and Clover. Makes a daddy proud!
