Uh, so I came back from a three week vacation, and my betta looks worse. He was kind of bloated before we left and I tried feeding him peas, which he didn't eat. I told the person who was taking care of him and the other fish to feed him less. That didn't help. Here's what poor Finfin looks like now:
I did some research and came up with dropsy. Unfortunately he does seem to have some pine cone scales on his right side. He seems to be eating and swimming fine. I tried the peas again but he won't touch them. He only eats the betta bites. I also found a dead fish in his tank (one of the tetras that I figured was soon to go anyway.) But what should I do with Finfin?
