I moved all 4 of my female rams back to the planted 40g whiel I clean out and run the UV on the two tanks of death that my male rams died in.
This tank is now heavily stocked with:
5 black neons
5 neons
2 von rios
4 albino cories
3 otos
3 zebra danios
4 female blue rams
The plants are taking off again, I presume because of the addd waste and co2. The female rams seem to be getting along soemwhat. 2 have become friends and protect each other from the one which is a bit agressive. Teh 4th female just lost her boyrfriend and seems to keep to herself fornow.
Can the 4 females stay in this tank. I am not concerned with the bio-load as I have 2 Aqua Clear 50's on the tank and it is moderately to heavily planted, but I am concerned about the aggression. Will they finally settle down into a pecking order or will the fighting continue.
I want to try and pair them off but think I should leave the 20g empty now for a few weeks and let a few plants establish themselves before I add new fish.
