Its been cycled and im about to put in 2 pots and i have a large pland and some amazon swords im brinig down.

Ive heard i should get 3 otos and 3 rummy nose.

Im very short on money so i wont be able to buy anything else. In my main 10 i have some plants ready to transfer.

If anyof you guys could help me out that would be great. so far i love this forum. i will post pics after the weekend. THANKS*celebrate*DRUMMER*

I think this is the question (please do correct me if I'm wrong).

Well, what is the reasoning behind getting those fish?
Sure you could get some Oto's for algae "cleaning" but keep in mind, all they do is poop the broken down waste into the water. Out of sight should not be out of mind ;).

So far as the rummy's... Well, I would call that personal preferance. Are you using them as dither fish?

Honestly, in a 10gal, I think I would call it with the rams. If you think you have algae problems an otto or 3 would be ok, but I think I'd skip out on any other fish. Schooling fish really prefer bigger groups and alot of room, neither of those things can be obtained in a 10gal tank and they may stress the rams. Rams also don't handle poor water quality well, and the less fish, the less you have to worry about fouling the water.

Im going to have to agree with brooklyn on this one. I would still just go with one oto though. They do produce quite abit of waste for as small as they are. I also think they do better if there solo as well. Its all just personal preference.

Well if you have a male and a female that have paired off, good water quality, and no other fish to stress them out or eat the eggs, they pretty much take care of the rest on their own.
