Ok many of you know I started breeding cons to feed to my Oscars, Well since I needed my 10G for a new batch I took all the 1/2in fry out of the 10 and dumped them into the oscars 90G, that was about 2 weeks ago, he chased them a bit but never really showed any real enthusiam for this, I figured some would survive a while since they have some decent hiding places and some java moss as well. Well today I did a head count on the 3/4 to 1in ones (they grew fast), I cant be sure how many I added but I still have about 20 in the tank, swimming WITH the oscar, yes it has appearantly adopted its food. Now the question is what to do with the rest of the fry I have..

Appearantly fish can communicate and have reached some sort of peace agreement....

well the convicts in with the oscar are all still there, even with no feeding for a few days in Feb. he still wont touch them..now they are about to breeding size so now I am appearantly in the convict business. Hopefully I have enough predators so if they do reproduce the catfish will take care of them.

Yea the oscar isnt even attempting to feed on them. I have a coupel striped rapheal catfish in the tank as well, I found an LFS that will take all I can give them so I may take most out and get rid of them, maybe leaving a pair in the tank to see if new fry will be eaten and give a self sustaining live food source.
