sick angel fish

I have four angel fish, three of them are ok, but one won't eat, what could be wrong with it.

Sorry that was pretty ordinary information,

He won't eat, though gets excited when I am about to feed them but just swims around with no interest in the food. He is very thin and at times, seems lethagic.

All the other angel fish are fine.

Need some more info. What size tank, how long have you had the fish, how long has the tank been set up, how big is it, etc.

I have 4 angel fish, and 1 had gone on a hunger strike, now I have 2 not eating, I have had them for about 4 weeks, I bought the two sick ones from a different pet shop to the others.

They live in a 200 litre tank that has fully cycled, I have given it a water change for the last 2 weeks, I had 2 bala sharks that died last week they both got ich, I turned the heater up and no other fish are infected,

I also have 4 platies, 1 pleco, 2 guramies

Well Ich is a parasite and since you've had balas die from it then I think that is a strong indication that is what is going on here.

I have a disease cheat sheet. According to that a fish will lose its appetite if there is poor water quality and it suggests the presence of an internal parasite.

The best treatment for a parasite would be dialing up the heat (like you have) and a salt regimen. Though salt is not recommended for any scaleless species.

I would (if I were you) look into Ich treatments for exact salt measurement and heat in the disease forum. Good Luck!

I took some water from the tank to be tested today, everything is fine, could it be internal parisites?

Did you just say you bought 2 sick angels and put them in with your other fish? wth?

The two angel fish that are now sick were from a different petshop (not sick when I got them).
