My tank has got some white stuff building on its exterior on plastic parts. specifically near filter, canopy and where bubble bust to the surface. I thinks its water evaporating on those surface leaving salts/minerals behind. its very hard to clean it, I tried using water (avoiding soap etc...dont want to kill my fish accidentally).

Any ideas how to clean this white stuff?

Thanks

*thumbsups That's right! It's hardwater buildup. Like unwritten said, vinegar and water work. Just try not to get any vinegar inside the tank.
